Baseball Training with Northeast Monarchs and Grind Time Baseball Academy

Commonpoint Queens is partnering with the Northeast Monarchs and Grind Time Baseball Academy so you can take your baseball training to the next level! Fitted with batting cages and functional training equipment, the new state-of-the-art Indoor Fitness Space at the Tanenbaum Family Pool provides our trainers and elite-level athletes an elevated space for professional training. Sessions will range from sports specific training to agility and strength training.

Hitting & Lifting (Beginners/Intermediate)

This class is designed to introduce the foundation of hitting which includes hitting approach, hitting mechanics and mindset. Participants will also get basic strength and conditioning regimen needed to progress their hitting ability.

Hitting & Lifting (Advanced)

This class is designed to help participants be technically sound when hitting which includes collegiate and professional hitting approach, hitting mechanics, mindset and analytics. Participants will also get collegiate and professional strength and conditioning regimen needed to progress their hitting ability.

Fielding & Agility (Beginners/Intermediate)

This class is designed to introduce the foundation of fielding which includes fielding approach at different positions, fielding footwork, throwing. Participants will also get basic ability and conditioning regimen needed to progress their fielding ability.

Fielding & Agility (Advanced)

This class is designed to help participants be technically sound when fielding which includes collegiate and professional fielding approach, fielding/throwing mechanics, fielding IQ and analytics. Participants will also get collegiate and professional agility and conditioning regimen needed to progress their fielding ability.

Strength & Conditioning

This class is designed to develop & improve Health Related Fitness which includes Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility and Improved Body Composition. The class has a high emphasis on fitness, exercise and personal development.

Pitching & Conditioning (Beginners/Intermediate)

This class is designed to introduce the foundation of pitching which includes pitching mechanics, learning different pitches, throwing strikes and correct body movement. Participants will also get basic conditioning regimen needed to progress their pitching ability.

Thursdays 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Pitching & Lifting (Advanced)

This class is designed to help participants be technically sound when pitching which includes collegiate and professional pitching approach, fine tuning mechanics, pitchers mindset and analytics. Participants will also get collegiate and professional lifting regimen needed to progress their pitching ability.

Wednesdays 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Driveline

This class is designed for pitchers & fielders. The primary focus is on arm-care. From that foundation, they help you build velocity, control, and command using specialize equipment, analytics and bio-mechanics.

Fridays 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Baseball 101

This class is designed to introduce all aspects of baseball including rules, throwing, fielding and hitting.

Mondays 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesdays 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursdays 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
