Commonpoint Queens Seeks Partnerships with Local Businesses to help build NYC Workforce

Queens, NY — As part of its brand new Workforce Hub in Elmhurst, Commonpoint Queens’ – formerly known as the Samuel Field Y and Central Queens Y – workforce program is creating strategic partnerships with small, medium and large businesses to promote workforce development and build the future workforce in New York City.

“We seek business partners from all industries, at any level that suits the needs of our local businesses,” said Denia Tavarez, Commonpoint Queens’ Senior Director of Adult Workforce. “There is an immediate focus on Allied Health, Information Technology, Culinary Arts, Hotel and Hospitality and administrative support roles to best meet the demand for skilled workers in New York City.”

The Commonpoint Queens Workforce program aims to:
