Summer Camp 2020 with Commonpoint Queens

With our agency’s experience serving as an emergency childcare center for our city’s frontline workers during the pandemic, we feel confident that we will be able to offer a safe and fun environment to help our children and families reconnect with the magic of camp. In providing childcare programming since mid-March, we have been at the forefront of many conversations with city and state officials, including the CDC and Departments of Health, which have helped guide us in designing and implementing programs and policies to provide the safest possible circumstances for campers and their families.

Camp at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds

We encourage, support and teach individual growth, group development, independence and provide a family atmosphere full of traditions.  We believe in the importance of being “unplugged” for the summer.  To truly bond with fellow campers and staff and enjoy all that nature and activities have to offer.  Campers acquire social and leadership skills, and grow and mature in an environment that promotes emotional, intellectual and moral development.
