With Queens at the heart of the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic, Commonpoint Queens is leading the way in providing critical food delivery, mental health services, and emergency childcare for frontline medical personnel, first responders, and essential workers.
Anxiety and stress are high, with many of our neighbors experiencing intense uncertainty and isolation. We remain the safety net for our most vulnerable neighbors providing thousands of food packages, hundreds of hours of teletherapy, virtual classrooms, and exercise classes to care for the minds, bodies, and souls of our community.
Because of the unprecedented crisis our community is experiencing, we are confronted with overwhelming need alongside significant unexpected costs: such as food for homebound seniors, technology to enable our staff to continue serving clients, and staff to ensure our programs run safely.
We need your help. Please give to our Emergency Fund to help us continue supporting our neighbors, our Commonpoint community.
