Having a young child can make you feel like you’re midway through a marathon – you’re tired, everything hurts, and you’ve still got a long way to go. There’s barely the time to drink a cup of coffee, let alone address the aches and pains that result from carrying your not-quite-crawling baby or lifting your I-want-to-see-everything toddler. What if there was a way to take care of yourself that could be done in between running to Mother Goose Storytime and making yet another grilled cheese sandwich? Brain-based bodywork is an easy way to do just that. In this workshop you will learn quick and effective ways to reduce your pain by helping your brain and body get on the same page. The exercises introduced here can help resolve existing trouble spots and prevent new ones from popping up. Better still, they can be done without any equipment, in 1-minute intervals, and are safe for all abilities and body types. Expecting parents are also welcome to attend.
Registration is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Please register below.
