Instructor: Jane C. Bardavid, LCSW, Private Practice, Former Director, CAPE Mental Health Clinic

Using a wide-angle view of working with clients ties the client to multiple systems. Understanding the presenting problem and its impact on work, school, family and peer relationships offers the worker options for intervention.  In this highly interactive course, we will focus on systemic concepts and techniques such as hierarchy, structure, gender, communication patterns that enable the worker to identify multiple techniques and points of intervention and use the therapeutic relationship to help the client problem-solve problematic relationships.

These sessions will take place virtually and pre-registration is required.  If you’d like to register for a class, please fill out our form and submit payment below. If you are a Commonpoint Queens staff member please register by clicking here (please – only use this form if you are a Commonpoint Queens staff member!).
