Build your multi-faith competence. Explore aspects of religious observances and beliefs that profoundly affect the people and communities with whom we work. This workshop will present specialized knowledge as well as encourage participants to share diverse religious practices and beliefs. Together, we will recognize how implicit bias and lack of knowledge can interfere with culturally competent practice as well as how meaningful learning and enhanced self-awareness can promote client engagement and professional effectiveness.
