Our Older Adult Services Department will be hosting a Health Fair on Wednesday, May 22nd from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Sam Field Center.
The theme of this fair will be “Successfully Aging in the Community,” and will feature panel presentations from several of our Older Adult program directors, Northwell Health, Goidel Law Group and Services Now for Adult Persons (SNAP). We will also be joined by Keynote Speaker Philip A. Rozario, Ph.D, from Adelphi University School of Social Work.
We will also have the following vendor’s at information tables: Alzheimer’s Association, Boston Scientific, Brandywine Living at The Savoy, Margaret Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, MetroPlus Health Plan, Mobility Ergonomics, Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, Queens Library Mail-A-Book Services, Right at Home, SNAP, and Visiting Nurse Service of New York.
