S.A.F.E. Program: Student & Family Engagement

The S.A.F.E. Program goal is to help students and families foster healthy relationships with each other, peers, school, and the greater community. S.A.F.E. partners with the school to host community events and offers individualized and group counseling, academic support, goal planning and specialized workshops for students. Through S.A.F.E. we have launched a success mentorship program to target chronic school absence and provide targeted after school enrichment in areas such as: Culinary/Nutrition, Coding/Robotics, Filmmaking, Dance, and more, as well as classes and programs for families. The S.A.F.E. Program is funded through NYC Community Schools by way of the New York State Education Department.
