End of Summer Mini Camps
Summer fun doesn’t have to end when camp is over! Join us for mini camps during the last 2 weeks of August so your children can continue to make friends, stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy their summer to the fullest before the new school year begins.
We offer programs for children entering Grades K-8, with trips, sports, arts & crafts, fun activities, and more. Take a look below at our program options, and get ready to have the best summers of your life with Commonpoint Queens!
for children entering GRADES K-8
Mini Camp at Central Queens

End your summer right with Commonpoint Queens Mini Camp! Children will have adventures on Enjoy a mix of fun trips and make memories swimming, playing sports, and participating in new interactive experiences including print-making, magic shows and lessons, karate clinics and live animal interactions
Trips may include the Queens Zoo, Long Island Children’s Museum, mini-golf, Fantasy Forest, and more! Please pack a Kosher nut free lunch daily. Bathing suit, swim cap, goggles, and towel are required for swim days.
Cost is $500 members / $550 non-members weekly
Extended care is available from 8-9am and 5-6pm for $30 a week each.

Mini Camp at the Sam Field Center

Campers at our end of Summer Mini Camp in Little Neck will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor sports and activities, daily swimming at the outdoor Tanenbaum Family Pool pool, and field trips to local entertainment venues like mini-golf, Karate, canvas painting, bowling, and more!!
This is a full day program held from 9am to 5pm for $500 members / $550 non-members weekly. All participants should pack a bathing suit, swim cap, goggles, and towel for swimming daily, as well as a nut free Kosher lunch.
Extended care is available from 8-9am and 5-6pm for $30 each weekly.

Mini Camp at the Bay Terrace Center

Campers at our end of Summer Mini Camp in Bayside will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor sports and activities including field sports, daily swimming at the outdoor Bay Terrace Center pool, and field trips to local entertainment venues like Laser Bounce, NYC aquarium, and more!
This is a full day program held from 9am to 5pm for $500 members / $550 non-members weekly. Extended care is available from 8-9am and 5-6pm for $30 each weekly. All participants should pack a bathing suit, swim cap, goggles, and towel for swimming daily, as well as a nut free Kosher lunch.

BEFORE August 15: 90% refund minus $20 administrative fee.
AFTER August 15: 50% refund minus $20 administrative fee.
Once Mini-Camp begins, no refunds or credits will be issued. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days.

Sababa Surf & Sail Camp
Campers at our Sababa Surf & Sail Camp will enjoy beginner, intermediate and advanced surf and sailing instruction, organized beach games and Jewish spiritual activities.
Surfing for all three weekly sessions will take place at Rockaway Beach in Queens. Sailing (2nd session only) will take place at The Waterfront Center in Oyster Bay, Long Island. This is a full day program held from 9am to 5:30pm inclusive of transportation (10am-4pm without transportation) for $895 a session weekly ($845 prior to March 15). Bus transportation will be provided from local hub stops at an additional $250/session.

Tennis Camp at Alley Pond
This summer, we are excited to offer Tuesday/Thursday morning recreational swim at Commonpoint Queens’ premium outdoor facility, the Tanenbaum Family Pool in Little Neck. On swim days, campers will have recreational swim and participate in tennis conditioning workouts in the air conditioned fitness space.
Each afternoon there will be a theme based activity, where campers are separated into teams to compete with each other to test their skills on and off the court. The campers will progress, while learning the values of sportsmanship, teamplay and also gain new friendships while having lots of fun.
