Work at Island Quest Day Camp!
Island Quest Day Camp joins the agencies of Commonpoint Queens, Friedberg JCC, Suffolk Y JCC, & Gural JCC to introduce a brand new, innovative day camp located in Wheatley Heights at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. Whether you want to fly across a zipline, make the game winning assist, or turn your recycled art into a robot, you can design a path that’s perfect for you. Every experience is unique. Every week is something new. Every adventure shapes your future.
Island Quest offers an innovative approach to choice-based experiences that allows our campers to choose their “Quest” (area of focus) each week. Summer 2021 will introduce three core Quests – Seek, Compete, and Innovate, each encouraging campers to dream big, seek solutions, and discover their true self. We remain dedicated to giving all campers the opportunity to establish lifelong friends, learn new skills, gain independence and achieve self-confidence.
We are also the home to passionate, dedicated and inspiring camp professionals! From our Counselors in Training to our Division Heads, Administrators to Specialists – all of our team members receive extensive training and participate in orientations where they learn to collaborate with supportive, like-minded professionals to give every child a rich summer experience and a lifetime of memories.
