Commonpoint Queens is Accepting Donations and Volunteers for the Commonpoint Closet

Commonpoint Queens will be hosting the Commonpoint Closet, a free clothing boutique to be held at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center this June. The Commonpoint Closet will empower young men and women on their road to economic independence through professional attire to help them enter and thrive in the workforce.

We are now accepting donations of gently used, clean professional attire. You can drop off donations through May 28 during business hours at:

Volunteer at the Commonpoint Closet

We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare, sort, stock, and run the Commonpoint Closet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am-2pm throughout May and June at our storefront at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center, 212-45 26th Avenue, Bayside, NY 11360. Volunteers can register for shifts as individuals or groups.

 

We will also need volunteers to help us run the Closet from June 13-17 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (extended hours June 16 & 17 10:00 am – 7:00 pm).
