Commonpoint Queens can help you take your baseball training to the next level! Fitted with batting cages and functional training equipment, the new state-of-the-art Indoor Fitness Space at the Tanenbaum Family Pool provides our trainers and elite-level athletes an elevated space for professional training. Sessions will range from sports specific training to agility and strength training.

We are excited to announce the opening of our Baseball Academy for Spring from from Tuesday, April 2 through Friday, June 21, 2024! ! Our dynamic instructors will guide your child to reach their full potential through engaging and age-appropriate sports curriculum. Registration begins March 1st – space is limited!

Spring 2024 Baseball:

Baseball Skills Clinic

This clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball/softball for all players. The main focus of the clinic is conditioning, hitting, pitching, fielding/agility, and skill-specific drills. Sportsmanship, defense/offense, footwork, and strategy will also be included.  Baseball and Softball clinics will run side by side on the following days and times.

  • Classes take place one time per week.
  • For all sports classes, please wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.
  • Parents/Caregivers are not allowed to stay during class time.
  • For all classes, please drop off and pick up at the front gate on Little Neck Parkway.
  • Free on-street parking is available around the facility.

  • Member prices are applicable for youth who are currently enrolled in a Commonpoint Queens Early Childhood, Camp, or After School program (20% per child on each of their registrations – please use the code MEMDIS@TFP) or have a family membership at Commonpoint Queens (discount should be automatically applied). We also offer a 5% Sibling Discount (5% per child on each of their registrations – please use the code SIBDIS@TFP). Insurance is included in the fee. Discounts must be applied in the shopping cart before you pay.
  • Before the first class is held, 100% refund minus $20 administrative fee.
  • After the first class is held, 90% refund of the remaining unused portion minus $20 administrative fee.
  • After 2nd class is held, a 50% refund of the remaining unused portion minus $20 administrative fee.
  • No refunds or credits after the 3rd class is held.
  • Should you choose to take a Commonpoint Queens credit, the administrative fee will be waived. 
  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to HFRefund@commonpointqueens.org.

If you would like to apply an existing Commonpoint Queens Household Credit to class or program registration fees, please contact HFDesk@commonpointqueens.org or call (718) 268-5011 ext. 500 for assistance BEFORE enrollment.

Each participant is entitled to one make-up per semester for a class missed due to illness.

To request a make-up class, please send an email to hfdesk@commonpointqueens.org and include a doctor’s note related to the absence.

Please note, since some classes are held only one time per week, we may try to accommodate a make-up request by offering a spot in a different sports or dance class during the current semester.
