Please inform our pool club management of one of the following decisions. If you select one of the first two options, please follow up with our management team to make them aware of your decision by July 31st, 2020. If we do not hear from you, your credit will be donated to Commonpoint Queens.

  1. Join the commitment of helping to feed seniors and vulnerable community members throughout the summer by donating your membership credit as a  tax-deductible contribution to Commonpoint Queens sustainability efforts. All members who choose this option will receive an official letter from Commonpoint Queens for your tax records.

  2. Receive the above credit for membership fees for your Summer 2021 membership.

  3. Members are able to cancel their Summer 2020 membership up until the first day of our season (July 2nd, 2020).

Here are some of the differences you will see this summer as we start our pool club season:

  • All staff must wear masks at all times except for lifeguards sitting on the lifeguard chair.

  • Members must wear masks while walking around the facility. Masks do not need to be worn at your chair or while swimming.

  • All members will receive a temperature check upon arrival at our pool clubs, any temperature over 100.4 degrees will not be allowed entrance into the pool club.

  • Upon entry, members will be asked the following questions:

1) Have you had contact with any persons with confirmed or suspected COVID – 19 within the last 14 days?

2) Have you had any symptoms of COVID-19 (including fever, runny nose, loss of sense of taste/smell, etc.), within the last 14 days?

3) Have you had a positive diagnostic COVID-19 test in the last 14 days?

  • All chairs and tables will be set up socially distant from each other. Chairs and tables will be disinfected after each use and each night.

  • Card playing will be allowed with all participants wearing a mask at all times.

  • We will be limiting the amount of people in the locker room and bathrooms at a time.

  • Members will be allowed to bring their own chair if they feel more comfortable.

  • All kitchen staff must wear a mask at all times and glass has been installed at the counter to provide a barrier between staff and members. Kitchen staff will provide further updates on how to order food via text or phone to limit lines at the snack bar.

  • Limiting the amount of members on the deck during busy times might be a reality. Having an overflow of seating area downstairs by the kiddie pool might be needed to avoid overcrowding and to allow us to maintain social distancing.

  • Upon arrival our staff will ask you to show your membership card and punch in your number to limit touching of the keypad. We have markings on the floor by the front gate so we can form a social distant line.

  • We will apply daily disinfecting of surfaces in our facility, and deep cleaning each night.

  • Tennis matches will be allowed. Basketball and Volleyball games will not be allowed unless with family members.
