After School Programs

Early Childhood (Ages 3-6), Youth (Age 6-12)
Central Queens (Forest Hills), Sam Field Center

Overview

The Commonpoint Queens’ Youth Education Services Department provides a full range of after school enrichment programs, trips, groups and special events for children currently in Kindergarten through 8th grade and their families. Through the use of activity-oriented programs, children grow and develop as positive, capable individuals while learning important interpersonal skills, social responsibilities and values in a supportive group environment.

Our child care staff consists of professional and para-professional youth workers, instructors, and teachers who are carefully selected for their commitment, skills and ability to relate to children with a caring, positive attitude.

We have programs at the following locations:

Activities include but are not limited to cooking, sports, arts & crafts, STEM, computer literacy, newsletter journalism and more! Each month takes the program on a new adventure of topics and themes that fuel each activity.

Transportation is currently provided from the following schools, but is subject to change depending on registration and availability. Extended hours are also available until 6:30 for an additional fee.
